Returns Policy

There are no returns or exchanges on Graduation Regalia taken out of its original packaging. Graduation gown measurements are very exact so please measure carefully as we do not take back any returns on them.

All returned merchandise must be in the new original condition with unopened packages and original packing materials. Merchandise that have been taken out of the bag or worn/used cannot be returned.

Any merchandise sent back that has been taken out of its packaging, has been worn or does not have prior return authorization will not be issued a refund. Customer will have to pay to have it sent back to them.

Merchandise should be inspected carefully upon delivery. All of our products are packed in see-through clear bags.

Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 3 days of receipt of an order or we will not be able to honor any replacements being claimed.

Requests for returns must be made within 5 days from date of receipt or we will not be able to accept an item for exchange or return.

Shipping and handling charges on the original order are non-refundable.

All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Call within 5 days of receipt to obtain authorization for return and RMA Number. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the OUTER SHIPPING BOX, or the shipment will be refused.

NO merchandise may be returned to Trim and Tassels without prior authorization.

Returns must be sent freight prepaid. Trim and Tassels will not pay for shipping of returns.

All returns are charged a 20% restocking fee.

All cancelations will be charged a cancelation fee. This is to cover the cost charged by financial institution of authorizing and canceling credit card and Paypal fees. This fee is non-neogtiable. The fee is 4% for Paypal orders and 8% for orders paid for with a credit card.

Sample orders cannot be returned for credit.

Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment.

Item(s) must be received within 8 business days of the date issued of your RMA number. A delay will result in complete forfeiture of your return.

Trim and Tassels is not responsible for size errors on the part of the person placing the order, normal return fees and conditions will apply.

No more than 10% of your order can be returned. Your price will be adjusted to reflect the new tier your kept merchandise falls under before the refund is issued.

Trim and Tassels is not responsible for mismatch of color between what is online and actual merchandise. Every computer monitor has its own settings and the color we are seeing on our screen can be different from what you see on your screen.

Actual merchandise may not look EXACTLY like the color on any computer screen.

Custom made products are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled after your order has been submitted under any circumstance. Custom made products require pre-payment to begin production. All custom merchandise are made to individual customer specifications and therefore not of use to anyone else but you.

Please allow 6-8 days for your return to be processed.

Under no circumstance is our liability more than the purchase price of the merchandise itself.

Please include the following information when returning an item:

 

  1. Your RMA number written on the outside of the box.
  2. A copy of your original invoice if available with the RMA number (inside of box).
  3. A note with all of your contact information stating if you would like a return for credit or replacement.
